Athena+
Athena+ is a military attendance and personnel management system I built to digitise and streamline daily administrative workflows for company-level units in the Singapore Armed Forces (I was not commissioned to build this; I built it to make the lives of me and my colleagues easier).
It replaces all manual personnel tracking with a real-time digital platform, enabling commanders and clerks to manage attendance, duty rosters, sick reports, medical statuses and appointments, and role reporting across multiple platoons, all from a single dashboard.
The system supports Excel bulk uploads for rapid personnel onboarding, platoon-level personnel breakdowns with automatic status categorisation (present, MC, leave, course, etc.), and generates consolidated attendance reports ready for submission up the chain of command. Built with React, TypeScript, and Supabase, it provides real-time updates, role-based access, and works seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices, making unit administration faster and more accurate, with rapid access to any individual's status in the event of an emergency.
PS: this is a completely innocuous piece of software that doesn't possess any capability that could ever do any more harm beyond making it hard for people to lie about how many days off they have left to use. I have a conscience. I've only been involved in military-related matters because Singapore law mandates it of permanent residents under the Enlistment Act. I hate the military-industrial complex, and I will never build a weapon.
